Stenciling is a fine complement to Faux Painting. Our stencils are pre-cut but we’ll design and cut our own to meet a client’s specific needs. Stencil work can be complex, but it can also be simple and straightforward and a quick way to embellish an accent wall in a room, a wall around a doorway, a niche or a window. Stencils can also compliment faux finished walls and can be used for borders. Stencil designs on domes and recessed ceilings are usually more elaborate since they’re such a focal point, but regardless of the type of stencil used or where the design will be in a room, a certain level of hand-painted artwork is involved in order to fill in the imprint left by the stencil sheet cut out.
